Assadullah Habib
Assadullah Habib or Asadullah Habib (born October 10, 1941 in Kabul , Afghanistan ) is an Afghan poet and writer of Tajik descent. After graduating, he studied in Kabul, the USA and the Soviet Union . From 1980 to 1982 he was President of the Writers' Association. In the same year he became a member of the DVPA. From 1982 to 1988 he was rector of the University of Kabul . From 1986 he was a member of the Academy of Sciences and the Central Committee.
