Association europeénne des élus de montagne

The Association européenne des élus de montagne ( AEM for short , French for "European association of elected representatives of the mountain regions") is an association founded in 1991 to strengthen mountain policy within the European Union and the Council of Europe . The full members, who come from all parties, are representatives elected to the EU Parliament, a national parliament or a regional parliament.

The association is based in Paris .
