Association for Project Management

The Association for Project Management ( APM ) is a British project management association based in Wycombe ( Buckinghamshire ). It acts as the UK representative of the International Project Management Association (IPMA).

The association, founded in 1972, has around 13,800 members (2005). The APM offers training in the area of project management and publishes several project management standards relevant in the UK , including the APM Body of Knowledge . APM also certifies project managers on this basis .
