Association of Swiss Psychotherapists

The Association of Swiss Psychotherapists (ASP) is the professional association of psychotherapists in Switzerland.

Around 850 certified individual members and 22 psychotherapeutic training institutions as collective members are organized in the ASP. There are also professional and regional associations. It is headed by a five-person board of directors, the office is located in Zurich

The ASP is an active member of the Swiss Charter for Psychotherapy , which merged with it in 2014 and has since continued as a conference of further education institutions and professional associations within the ASP.

The ASP represents the political, professional and economic interests of its members at national and cantonal level.

As a professional association in the field of psychotherapy , u. a. Ensure that the members comply with the legal framework. The work also focuses on the further development and quality assurance of the psychotherapy profession.

Patients are given therapy places free of charge and information is given.
