The Astana Symphony Orchestra (also Symphony Orchestra of the State Philharmonic Astana ) is a symphony orchestra founded in 1998 from the Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan (Astana until 2019).

The orchestra was founded just a year after Astana was chosen as the capital of Kazakhstan. The idea came from the rector of the State University of the Arts in Kazakhstan, Aiman ​​Mussakhajeva. The orchestra performs mainly in Europe and the countries of the former Soviet Union . In addition to the usual repertoire of a capital city orchestra, it represents the different peoples, religions and world views of the Kazakh state and is their symbol of peaceful coexistence.
