Astrid Hoßfeld-Bader

Astrid Hoßfeld-Bader (* 1939 in Duisburg ) is a German roller skater and successful trainer; from 1965 to 1968 she was four times world champion.

biography

As Astrid Bader, she began as a roller skater at a young age. It started for the ice and roller sports club Bremerhaven (ERCB, formerly roller and skate club Bremerhaven (RSCB)). At the world championships from 1965 to 1968 she was world champion four times in a row. She was German champion in 1965 and 1968.

After her active career, she married and as Astrid Hoßfeld-Bader became a trainer at ERC Bremerhaven . She led many of her protégés to national and international success, so u. a. Michael Butzke (* 1960, five-time world champion in the 1970s / 1980s), Birgit Melchers (1980s), Alexander Hoßfeld and Constance Hoßfeld - their children - (1990s to 2004), Sarah Kirstin Behlen (vice world champion) and Lina Goncharenko (2010s ).

Honors
