Astrid Krombach-Gerhardt (born January 20, 1959 in Düsseldorf ) is a successful judo fighter in the heavyweight division in Germany and holder of the fourth Dan .

biography

Astrid Krombach came to judo at the age of five. She was first a member of ESV Olympia Köln, then of the 1st Eitorfer JC and finally came to JC Hennef. She learned to be a bank clerk, has three children and has been working as a nursing accountant since 1993. She competed for Stadtlohn and Beueler JC in the German Judo Bundesliga . Krombach works as a regional trainer for women for the North Rhine-Westphalian Judo Association (NWJV). Your home club is the 1st Eitorfer Judoclub.

successes

Count among their successes

  • two German championship titles (1978, 1980),
  • Title at international tournaments (British Open) as well
  • eleven world championship titles in the senior sector in the age group over 30, in addition to gold at World Championships, titles at various European and German championships.

The city of Hennef honored the athlete with a gold medal on March 13, 2005.
