Astydromia
Astydromia ( ancient Greek Ἀστυδρόμια ) were festivals in ancient Greece .
The Suda after it was celebrations that in Cyrene committed to celebrate the city's founding. Martin P. Nilsson compares the festival with the in Athens committed amphidromia , as Lustrationsfeier committed after the birth of a child. With the Amphidromia, the newborn was carried around the hearth, accordingly Nilsson suspects that to inspect the Astydromia they walked around the city of Cyrene.
