Athanis
Athanis of Syracuse (also Athanas ) was an ancient Greek historian . He came from Syracuse and lived in the 4th century BC. Chr.
Athanis counted in the years 357/56 and 356/55 BC. To the "chiefs" of the demos. He continued the work of Philistos and wrote a total of thirteen books on the further history of Dionysius II , Dion's expedition and the events of Timoleon at least until his resignation in 337/36. Only fragments of Athanis' work have survived .
