The St. Gallen Athletics Center , also known as AZ , at Parkstrasse 2 in St. Gallen is an event location in St. Gallen.
history
The grandstands hold 1500 spectators, but can also be enlarged for major events. The maximum capacity of the sports hall is 3000 spectators. The sports hall was opened with the Swiss Indoor Athletics Championships in 2007.
Events
In addition, the hall was used between December 3 and 11, 2011 for the world floorball championships. Also in 2011 the Military Tattoo Festival took place in AZ .
use
When the Tal der Humut sports hall collapsed in 2009, various sports clubs were relocated. From then on, the athletics center served as a training and competition hall for the UHC Waldkirch-St. Gallen . Since the rebuilding of the Valley of Humility, the club has played its home games again in humility. Various junior teams of the UHC Waldkirch-St. Gallen continue to train in the AZ.
The hall serves the LC Brühl as a training and competition hall.
