Atil is a village in the Mexican state of Sonora with 609 inhabitants. The village is located in the north of Sonora in the municipality of the same name , whose administrative seat it is. The village lives from agriculture. Wheat, maize, cotton, sorghum , cartamo and frijol are grown.
history
The village was founded in 1751 by the Jesuit missionary Jacobo Sedelmayer.
