Atlético Marte (full name: Club Deportivo Atlético Marte ) is a football club from the city of San Salvador in El Salvador, founded in 1950 . The club, which is currently playing in the Primera División de Fútbol Profesional , the top division of the Federación Salvadoreña de Fútbol , the national football association of El Salvador, has already won the Salvadoran championship eight times in its history, most recently in the 1980/81 season. The club also won the CONCACAF Cup Winners' Cup in 1991 .
