The Attawapiskat Lake is a lake in Kenora District in the Canadian province of Ontario .
The main tributary of Attawapiskat Lake is the Otoskwin River . The Marten Drinking River flows into the lake on the south bank. The Attawapiskat Lake has two outlets, the Attawapiskat River and the North Channel , which joins the Attawapiskat River further east. The lake has an area of 281 km² and is at an altitude of 241 m . The Neskantaga First Nation settlement (also known as Lansdowne House ) is on the west bank of the lake.
The Otoskwin / Attawapiskat River Provincial Park comprises the lake area and the adjacent bank area as well as the courses of the Otoskwin River and Attawapiskat River.
