The extra-company vocational training ( BaE ) is a measure of the employment promotion law , which is regulated in § 76 SGB III.

Extra-company vocational training is an option for those young people who can not be placed in vocational training even with training support . The target group therefore includes young people with learning disabilities and young people from difficult social backgrounds or with severe psychological impairments, as well as handicapped young people who are not so severely disabled that they need training at a vocational training center . It is also possible to continue a discontinued company training outside the company; There are no entry requirements here.

In this case, the vocational training is carried out by a company that carries out both theoretical and practical phases itself (integrative model) or has practical phases carried out in a company (cooperative model). The costs for the external training are reimbursed by the employment agency. The provider of the measure has to pay an appropriate training fee, which is topped up by the employment agency. The social security contribution is paid solely by the provider of the measure. Costs incurred as a result of sick pay will be reimbursed to the provider of the measure.
