Audrius Kšanavičius (born January 28, 1977 in the Soviet Union ) is a Lithuanian football player . He has been playing for FBK Kaunas in A Lyga , the highest Lithuanian league , since 2009 .

Career

Kšanavičius began his career at FBK Kaunas , where he was brought into the first team in 1994. They finished sixth in their first season. Until 1999 he played for Kaunas without having won a title. Only then could the first championship title of his career be celebrated. In the following season, the title could be defended.

In 2001 he moved to Latvia and signed with Skonto Riga . Up to 2003 three championship titles and two cup victories were celebrated. Then he returned to Kaunas. Kšanavičius was able to celebrate his sixth championship there, and was also a Supercup and Cup winner. In 2005 he played for six months on loan at Atlantas Klaipėda , with which the seventh place in the top Lithuanian league was reached. In 2006 and 2007 he was back in the FBK Kaunas squad, where he was once again champion and Supercup winner. In July 2007 he turned his back on the Baltic States and moved to Heart of Midlothian in Scotland .

In a season and a half, the left midfielder made 31 missions and two goals. He made his debut in the Scottish Premier League on August 6, 2007 against Hibernian Edinburgh . Kšanavičius played through, the game was lost 0-1. The club finished eighth in 2007/08. In January 2009 he returned to Kaunas and was able to win his eighth championship at the end of the season.

He has played 19 times for Lithuania and scored two goals (both against Georgia on November 21, 2007). He made his debut in 1997.
