history
The first cemetery church was built when the cemetery was laid out in 1803. The current cemetery church was donated by Ludwik Edward Helcel and his wife Anna Helcel . The first neo-Gothic project was discarded. The classical chapel goes back to Józef Czeszka . However, the building permit was only granted in 1856 and construction could only take place in the years 1861 to 1862. The church serves as a funeral hall for the deceased who are buried in the Rakowicki cemetery.
