The new blessing took place on August 28, 2016.

The Resurrection Column used to be part of the Leonhardiberg pilgrimage site, which was originally called the old vineyard . On the Leonhardiberg there was a pilgrimage church, which was closed in the course of the Josephine reforms and which was later removed. From the village a path ( Via Sacra ) led up to the church, which was decorated with statues of saints on both sides, and on the last part of the path there was the Resurrection Column on the left. From the pilgrimage site only the Leonhardi column , the cruciform chapel and the resurrection column, standing at the beginning of the Via Sacra, are preserved.
