Inception

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In heraldry, the application or incorporation is a way of uniting coats of arms and / or elements of at least two coats of arms in one image.

There are basic options. The main coat of arms may not be falsified. Once a bar in the form of a right or left diagonal bar or a post in the main shield with the coat of arms to be added is to be placed over the shield. It is then placed emblazoned. It is important that the color of the additions differs from the existing ones, i.e. is distinctive.

Another variant is to apply what is to be added to the shield, the coat of arms or the herald's image and to show the difference by using mixed up colors .

The upper coat of arms cannot be ruled out at the union . So the helmets can all be placed over the shield with the helmet decorations . If this form is not used, the highest ranking helmet or the highest ranking crown must be used. The crests are then combined into one.

This application is a possibility of the coats of arms union in addition to the entanglement, grafting or the border .
