Touchdown

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

When playing ball games in team sports such as soccer , handball or water polo, a goal shot variant is called the touchdown , in which the ball touches the ground once (touches down ) in front of the goalkeeper and then jumps up again, often in an unpredictable manner.

Well-aimed shots lead more often to a goal, since the trajectory of a bouncer can be more difficult for the goalkeeper to predict, especially on uneven and uneven or wet ground.
