Prospecting
The exploration is a term from the mining law . It refers to the activity directly or indirectly aimed at the discovery or determination of the expansion of mineral resources with the exception of activities within the scope of the official geological survey, teaching or teaching purposes and the collection of minerals in the form of handpieces or small samples for mineralogical or geological collections .
A large-scale exploration is an investigation carried out with the help of geophysical or geochemical methods if it is limited to the determination of characteristic values that allow large-scale conclusions to be drawn about the possible occurrence of mineral resources.
The exploration is subject to the provisions of the Federal Mining Act and requires permission from the competent mining authority , if necessary within the framework of an operating plan .
