The order is German military magazine and association magazine of the community of catholic soldiers (GKS). It is self-published twice a year, initially by Leopold in Bonn , later by Köllen, also in Bonn. Predecessors were the Königsteiner officers' letters .
The magazine documents and reports on events and activities of the GKS. In addition, the magazine offers background information on the following topics: the soldier's self-image on a Christian basis, current questions of peace ethics and the professional, social and religious environment.
Members of the GKS receive the order from the chairman of their group, the contact person or the office of the military pastor . For members of the GKS sponsorship group, the magazine will be sent by post; the purchase costs are included in the annual fee.
It is financed by the non-profit association Förderkreis Gemeinschaft Katholischer Soldier e. V. (FGKS).
