Augsburg national newspaper

The Augsburger Nationalzeitung appeared in Augsburg from 1931 to 1945 and was the official organ of the NSDAP in the NS- Gau Schwaben .

The first edition appeared on February 21, 1931 under the title Neue Nationalzeitung . In August 1936 the name was changed to 'Augsburger Nationalzeitung'.

The number of subscribers was 25,000 in June 1939, 40,000 in 1940/41 and more than 45,000 in August 1944.

The last issue appeared on April 26, 1945.
