The August Brötje GmbH (proper spelling: BRÖTJE) is a manufacturer of heating technology with headquarters in Lower Saxony Rastede . Brötje was founded in 1919 as a workshop for mechanical engineering and repair. Brötje products are now available all over Europe.

history
Brötje was founded in 1919 as a small craft business and grew steadily. In the mid-1960s, today's August Brötje GmbH employed around 500 people in the factories in Rastede near Oldenburg and Augustfehn . In 1979 Broetje-Automation was spun off . In 1999 the company was integrated into the Baxi Group, a major European group for heating technology. In 2006, Brötje became a craftsman brand partner alongside the Central Association for Sanitary, Heating, Air Conditioning (ZVSHK). This association is an economic organization and representation of interests for the HVAC trade in Germany. In 2009 the Baxi group repositioned itself and merged with the De Dietrich Remeha group to form BDR Thermea . In Germany, the brands Brötje, Remeha, Senertec and Oertli are best known.
Products
The product range of the system technology provider for heating technology includes heat generator products for gas and oil, heat pumps, solar technology and radiators with the necessary accessories.
