August Wilhelm Grube (actor)
August Wilhelm Grube ( September 17, 1845 in Berlin - December 12, 1903 there ) was a German theater actor and director .
Life
Initially, Grube took dramatic lessons from Hugo Gottschalk and later from Wauer's Theater Academy in Berlin.
In 1867 he made his debut in Elbing. Then he went to Danzig, Oldenburg, Opinions, to the Hoftheater Coburg (1869–1875), the Vienna City Theater (under Heinrich Laube ), the City Theater Leipzig (under August Förster ) and in 1879 the Hoftheater Hannover .
He stayed there until 1893. In Hanover he was awarded the title of "Court Theater Director". In 1894 he worked in Hamburg for another year, only to appear as a guest afterwards.
He represented the field of sedate lovers and heroes.
