Augustin Ndindiliyimana (born April 15, 1943 ) is a former Rwandan general and convicted war criminal.

He was Chief of Staff of the Rwandan Gendarmerie during the Rwandan genocide .

On May 17, 2011, the UN War Crimes Tribunal for Rwanda sentenced him to 11 years in prison for genocide. Having been in custody for 11 years, he was able to leave the court as a free man. At the same time, Augustin Bizimungu was sentenced to 30 years in prison. The reasons for the different terms of imprisonment were that Ndindiliyimana, unlike Bizimungu, had only limited control over his subordinates.
