Aulus Cornelius Cossus (dictator)
Aulus Cornelius Cossus was a Roman senator and politician from the Gens Cornelia .
Cossus was 385 BC BC dictator , defeated the Volscians in this capacity and was honored with a triumph . He then suppressed unrest among the plebs by arresting Marcus Manlius Capitolinus . As with almost all events of early Roman times, it is unclear how much truth there is in this tradition.
