Aulus Granius
Aulus Granius (* in Puteoli ; † 48 BC ) was a member of the Roman Granii family and a respected knight from Puteoli . He belonged to the latter's party during the civil war between Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus and Gaius Iulius Caesar . When Pompey 48 BC Chr. Was besieged for months in vain by his adversary at Dyrrhachion , Granius was one of those officers of Caesar who were killed in the course of the fighting.
