history

Aura under construction (2011)

At the beginning of the construction planning, two skyscrapers were planned on a ten-story podium. The taller skyscraper should have 60 floors including a podium and a height of 196.5 meters, the smaller tower a height of 74.5 meters with 20 floors.

However, the project was changed so that only a 75-story tower should be built on the podium. In February 2012, the City of Toronto approved three more floors for the construction project. This made the building with 78 floors the tallest residential building in Canada.
