Aurelio Genghini

Aurelio Genghini (born October 1, 1907 in San Giovanni, Forlì-Cesena province , † September 11, 2001 in Rome ) was an Italian marathon runner .

In 1932 he was third in the Italian qualifying race for the Olympic Games and second in the Italian championship.

The following year he became Italian champion with his personal best of 2:38:40 h.

In 1934 he was fourth in the Italian Championship and won bronze at the European Athletics Championships in Turin in 2:55:04 h.

In 1936 he was third in the Italian championship. At the Olympic Games in Berlin he did not reach the goal.

In 1937 he was again Italian champion and third in the French championship.
