Aurunceius Felicessemus
Aurunceius Felicessemus (his praenomen is not known) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 3rd century AD .
A dedicatory inscription on an altar, which was found at Fanum Cocidi fort and which is dated to 201/300, shows that Felicessemus was a tribune . According to John Spaul , he was the tribune of the Cohors I Augusta Nerviana Germanorum , who at the time was stationed in the province of Britannia . The inscription also shows that he was previously an Evocatus .
Felicessemus dedicated the altar to the deity Cocidius .
