Excellent! ( Trademark ) has been an annual reference work for selected internationally award-winning literature and music since 2005 . The brochure carries a nominal fee , but is available free of charge in bookshops .
history
The compendium was presented by the news magazine Focus up to the 6th edition in 2010 and has been independently continued by the Friedrichshafen publishing company Philipp since 2011. The brochure offers a selected overview of around 160 international and German book awards. On 164 pages, with around 250 cover images, it provides a guide to world-wide award-winning literary and musical works over the course of a year (October to October). In addition, award-winning music from the areas of classical and jazz will be presented.
The complete edition is available free of charge on the Internet for research purposes. Contents and award lists are linked, as are the web addresses given in the brochure. The pages also contain many links to recordings such as readings, award ceremonies, portraits and music samples. The brochure can also be downloaded free of charge as a PDF on the web.
