I Rzeczpospolita

The Committee for the Income of the Crown ( Polish : Komisja Skarbowa Koronna ) - was a parliamentary committee of the Sejm , which the income of the Polish Crown (Polish: Korona Królestwa Polskiego , Lat .: Corona Regni Poloniae ) in the Real Union of Poland-Lithuania (Polish: I Rzeczpospolita , Lat .: res publica ) should control. The committee was established at a session of the Sejim on June 4, 1764 and consisted of 16 (later 9) members elected by parliament. The committee had to report to the Sejm every year. First, the parliamentary committee took over the powers of the Supreme Treasurer of the Crown ( Polish : Podskarbi wielki koronny , Lat . : supremus thesaurarius, supremus rei monetariae magister ) and those of the Treasurer and Bailiff of the Crown ( Polish : Podskarbi nadworny koronny , Lat . : vicethesaurarius ). Later on, I added competencies in the field of industrial promotion, trade, communication and justice in tax matters. The permanent council in 1775 assigned him duties of the tax office. On October 28, 1791, the four-year-old Sejm added the Committee on the Income of the Crown of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania ( Polish : Komisja Skarbowa Wielkiego Księstwa Litewskiego ) and the Committee on the Income of Poland-Lithuania ( Polish : Komisja Skarbowa Narczypospolitej Obojga ). The Targowica Confederation dissolved the organ in 1793.
