The Hohenmirsberger Platte observation tower is a 28 meter high wooden tower with an observation platform at a height of 22 meters, which was built in 2008 at the Hohenmirsberger Platte geocenter northeast of the Hohenmirsberg district of Pottenstein . It has a pentagonal cross-section and has a transmitting antenna for broadcasting the Mainwelle radio program on 93.3  MHz with 100 watt ERP .
