The Austin Acoustic ( German  Austin Akustik ) are a women's arena football team based in the US city ​​of Austin in the state of Texas . You play in the Western Conference of the Legends Football League (LFL).

history

A first trial training session was held on September 26, 2015 to help build the team. The team name and logo were also published on the same day. In November 2015, Jericho Harris was presented as the first head coach . They lost their first game in the season opening game against the Seattle Mist with 8:44. They won the second game against the also new New England Liberty with 41:21. After losing the last two games of their first season, they ended the season with one win and three losses, which is why they missed the play-offs . The team's second season was even worse than the first. In the second season, the team lost all of their games and ended the season in third place in the division.

In 2018 the team qualified for the play-offs as the best team in their conference. In the Conference Championship Game they managed a 32:30 victory over Los Angeles Temptation , which they moved into their first Legends Cup. There they lost to Chicago Bliss with 20:28.
