The Austrian Softball League is the 1st softball league in Austria .
Softball is played with seven teams in the ASL (Austrian Softball League). There is a basic round with 20 or 14 games for the 2 new teams. The ranking is based on the ratio of the points earned (2 per win, 1 per game played) in relation to the maximum possible number of points. The four best teams will contest the state championship play-offs in September in the Page system.
