The Avalanche Glacier ( English for avalanche glacier ) is a glacier fed by avalanches and strongly fissured by the tidal range on the Danco coast of Grahamland in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows northwest of Mount Inverleith in a northwest direction to Skontorp Cove on Paradise Harbor .
Scientists on a Polish Antarctic expedition named him in 1999.
