Avatime is an endangered West African language.
In the southeast of Ghana , around Amedzofe (Amajofe), Avatime is spoken by about 24,000 (2003) people. Alternative names are Afatime, Sideme, and Sia. The closest related languages are Nyangbo and Tafi.
