Avelino Cadilla (* 1918 in Uruguay; † 1974 ) was a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

Defensive player Cadilla played at club level at least 1937 and 1940 for River Plate Montevideo in the Primera División . In 1941 and 1942 he was under contract with River Plate Buenos Aires . His club won the Argentine Championship in both years.

National team

Cadilla was a member of the senior national team of Uruguay , for which he completed seven international matches between January 6, 1937 and February 26, 1941. He did not score an international goal. He was part of the Uruguayan squad at the South American Championships in 1937 and 1941 , in which the Celeste supervised by Alberto Suppici (1937) and José Pedro Cea (1941) took third and second place respectively.
