Avenida Presidente Tancredo de Almeida Neves

The Avenida Presidente Tancredo de Almeida Neves (or Avenida Tancredo Neves for short ) is a main street in the Brazilian city of Coronel Fabriciano (Minas Gerais). It is named after the former President Tancredo Neves .

It begins at the old bridge that connects Timóteo with the city and ends on the border with Ipatinga on the hill of the Usipa Landscape Park , where it flows into Avenida Pedro Linhares Gomes . It crosses the districts of Caladinho , Bom Jesus , Centro , Giovannini and Todos os Santos .

The road is part of the Rodovia Fernão Dias (BR-381) that runs through the city. In addition to several branches of car dealers, the Centro Universitário do Leste de Minas Gerais is also nearby. The Prefecture of Coronel Fabriciano and the Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (Dnit) recently signed an agreement that provides for the gradation of the road at the municipal level.
