Averbeck

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Averbeck is a farming community in the village of Heek in the municipality of the same name in the district of Borken , North Rhine-Westphalia . Averbeck had 233 inhabitants on December 31, 2004.

The Averbeck farmers are first mentioned in 1648. The farms belonging to it were previously subordinate to the Heek farmers. The steady increase in the number of farms in the 16th and 17th centuries will probably have been one of the reasons that led to the establishment of the community.
