history
The company's beginnings go back to the end of the 19th century. As Bremisch-Hannoversche Kleinbahn AG , the company, which was founded on June 24, 1898, initially specialized in the construction, expansion and operation of small railroad lines. With the railway lines in the Bremen area , connections were created to the surrounding areas as well as to the state railway lines Bremen-Oldenburg and Bremen-Osnabrück. The company was already listed on the stock exchange when it was founded. From January 14, 1958, the company was called Bremisch-Hannoversche Eisenbahn AG (BHE).
In the 2000s, the company concentrated on the administration of the property that was formerly used for rail operations and temporarily withdrew from the rail business.
The company has been operating under the name Aves One AG since 2016. It returned to the rail business and is active as an inventory holder of logistics assets. The decisive factor here was the acquisition of the freight car portfolio from what was then ERR Rail Rent Vermietungs GmbH and is now Aves Rail GmbH. Aves One AG primarily provides freight wagons as well as containers and logistics real estate for the rental market.
