Aviolanda was a Dutch aircraft construction company in Papendrecht . It was founded in December 1926 by H. Adolph Burgerhout. Aviolanda mainly built aircraft under license, such as the Dornier-Wal , the Dornier-Do-24 flying boat, the Gloster Meteor fighter , the Hawker Hunter fighter and parts for the Starfighter Lockheed F-104 . In 1967 the company was taken over by Fokker and is now part of the successor company Stork Fokker Aerospace. In this sense, it is the Dutch partner of the European NH-90 developer NHIndustries .

The factory is still based in Papendrecht today, where the rear section of the NH 90 is produced. The NH-90 intended for the Netherlands are also equipped and looked after there.

In 2009, Stork announced that it would reorganize its aviation activities and reintroduce the old traditional names. Fokker Services, aircraft repair and maintenance operations will in future operate under the name Aviolanda in Woendsrecht .
