NHIndustries (where NH stands for "NATO Helicopter") is a helicopter manufacturer based in France.

history

The company was founded in 1992 by Eurocopter (since 2014 Airbus Helicopters , Germany and France ), Agusta (since 2017 Leonardo SpA , Italy ) and Stork Fokker Aerospace ( Netherlands ).

NHIndustries was set up as a special company for the planning, manufacture, implementation, production and logistics support of the NH90 helicopters.

Products

NHIndustries manufactures the NH90 in the variants Tactical Troop Transport (TTH) and NATO Frigate Helicopter (NFH). The NH90 is mainly used as a transport helicopter in NATO . In the Bundeswehr, the model mainly replaces the Bell UH-1 .
