Avishay Smoler (born October 31, 1985 in Rishon LeZion ) is an Israeli handball player . He plays for the Israeli club Hapoel Rischon LeZion .

Smoler moved to HSG Wetzlar in 2007 and was the first Israeli handball player to play in the 1st handball league. Before Smoler went to Wetzlar, he played for Hapoel Rischon LeZion. There he joined the first men's team at the age of 15. He was twice Israeli champion with Hapoel Rischon LeZion and once a cup winner. For the 2010/11 season he moved to TBV Lemgo . After two seasons in Lemgo, he returned to Hapoel Rischon LeZion.

The left-handed student plays on the right winger .

At the Sparkasse Handball Cup 2007, Smoler was the top scorer.

For the Israeli national team , he has played 46 internationals so far.
