Avocat (France)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Avocat is a former legal profession in France. In addition to him, there was on the one hand the avoué , who took on the written preparation of a case, and the conseil juridique , which was not allowed to take any procedural acts, but could only give legal advice. In 1971 the profession of avoué was merged with that of avocat for the first instance and in 2010 for the second instance . Since 1990 the free legal advice of the conseil juridique has been banned. Since then, avocat has been the only legal professional in France.
