Avoué

Avoué referred to a legal profession in the French legal system . The Avoué was primarily entrusted with the written preparation (postulation) when representing a client (see also solicitor ).

In contrast, there was the avocat , whose task it was to make an oral plea in court. By loi n ° 71-1130 of December 31, 1971 , the profession of avoué was merged with the avocat for the first instance . In 2010, the avoué was merged with the avocat for the second instance .
