Awetí
The Aweti [ˌaue 'ti], also Arauite, Tuoi, Awytyza, Auetö, Aueto, Aueti, Auiti, Arauite, Arauine, Enumaniá, are a South American Indian people in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso , on the Rio Xingu . In 2011 there were 195 tribal members of this people (2002: 138 members, 2006: 140 members) who speak a separate language of the Tupi-Guarani language family ( Aweti ). They live with 15 other tribes, which are grouped under the name Xingu Indians , in the Indian territory Parque Indígena do Xingu .
