Axel Alfredsson

Axel Alfredsson (born May 2, 1902 in Helsingborg , † August 9, 1966 in Nacka ) was a Swedish football player .

career

Alfredsson started playing football for the club in 1916. He changed clubs several times in the early years of Swedish football. Between 1916 and 1920 he was active for five different clubs. In 1920 he moved from Klippans IF to Helsingborgs IF . Here he stayed until 1929 and won the Swedish championship. He then moved to league rivals AIK Solna , with whom he celebrated his second championship in 1932. In 1936 he ended his career.

Between 1924 and 1932 Alfredsson played 31 caps for Sweden . At the Olympic Games in 1924 he won the bronze medal with the selection.
