The Mount Ayalu is a 2,145 m high stratovolcano south of Asbahri level in northern Ethiopia . Its eastern flank is criss-crossed by crevasses and covered by ignimbrite deposits from the Adwa volcano in the immediate vicinity to the east . There are some hot springs on the western flank of the volcano. There are no reliable data on outbreaks.
