Azarshahr (administrative district)

Azarshahr ( Persian شهرستان آذرشهر) is an administrative district ( Shahrestan ) in East Azerbaijan in Iran . The capital is the city of the same name Azarshahr . According to the 2006 census, 99,286 people lived there. The district is in turn divided into three districts ( Bachsch ) Howmeh , Gugan and Mamqan . The district names correspond to the district towns of the same name Howmeh , Gugan and Mamqan .
